ROLE DESCRIPTION
State Farm Insurance agencies operate somewhat like a franchise. We represent State Farm, one of the 50 largest companies in the USA, so we have all the support of being closely connected to the nation's largest, most well-respected insurance leader.  But at the same time, we have all the advantages and comfort of working in a small, local office, so that we are able to develop deep, close relationships within our local Team and with the customers we serve. Our agency is well-known and well-established in the community, giving you exceptional job security and true opportunity for growth. It is NOT necessary to have an insurance background, as our training program is excellent!

As a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member, you will be part of taking exceptional care of our agency's customers. Your true desire to help people in significant ways, your customer service skills, and your attention to detail could make you an ideal fit for our Team. You will grow your own career while working one-on-one with our customers, helping them with every kind of insurance and financial question and need they may have -- all in a Team environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Establish and build new customer relationships and follow up with customers as needed.
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions and billing clarification.
  • Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
  • Use exemplary communication to efficiently meet the needs of customers while promoting the development of our business. 
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Dedicated to customer service.
  • Able to effectively relate to a customer, answer their questions, and anticipate their needs.
  • Excellent communication skills to assist customers and coordinate with other agency team members.
  • Proactive in problem-solving.

Compensation: $36,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
